Build Your Online Business Foundation

A practical program for anyone wanting to understand digital finance, ecommerce operations, and building sustainable income streams in the Australian market.

Learn at Your Own Pace

I started this program because too many people were asking the same questions. How do taxes work for online businesses? What platform should I use? How do I actually get paid?

Most courses promise miracles. This one doesn't. It's just solid information about running a digital business in Australia, taught by people who've been doing it for years.

We cover the boring stuff that actually matters. Payment gateways, ABN requirements, GST registration, and how to keep your books straight without losing your mind.

Classes run online twice a week. You can watch live or catch the recordings later. Some weeks you'll feel overwhelmed. That's normal. We have support channels where people help each other figure things out.

What You'll Actually Learn

Digital Payment Systems

Understanding how money moves online isn't glamorous, but it's essential. We break down payment processors, merchant accounts, and why some platforms charge what they do.

  • Setting up Stripe and PayPal correctly
  • Transaction fees and how they add up
  • Chargebacks and customer disputes
  • International payment considerations

Australian Tax Basics

Tax can be confusing. We make it less so. This module walks through what the ATO expects from online businesses and how to stay compliant without hiring an expensive accountant right away.

  • ABN and GST registration process
  • What you can actually claim as expenses
  • Quarterly BAS lodgement explained
  • Record keeping that won't drive you mad

Platform Selection

Shopify, WooCommerce, or something else? Each has pros and cons. We compare them honestly, including the hidden costs nobody talks about until you're already committed.

  • Real cost analysis beyond monthly fees
  • Migration challenges if you change later
  • Technical skill requirements for each
  • Australian-specific integration needs

Financial Planning

How much should you actually invest? When do you need business insurance? What's reasonable to expect in your first year? We discuss real numbers, not fantasy projections.

  • Budgeting for your first six months
  • When to reinvest vs. when to pull back
  • Insurance requirements for online businesses
  • Setting realistic financial milestones
